Service Description
Academic Advising - Meet Your Advisor Get help with educational plans that are consistent with academic, personal and professional goals.
Career Services Students can seek assistance with resumes, cover letters, interview preparation, and networking.
Center for Equity and Inclusion A service-driven space that is open to all that provides a safe and welcoming environment for all students to learn about themselves and other cultures.
Mental Health Services Your mental health and wellness are important! Lake Superior College Students can access free and confidential mental health services to help cope with a variety of life stressors and concerns through Mental Health Services.
Student Accessibility Services Individualized academic accommodations are provided to students with a documented disability. If you were on an IEP or 504 plan in high school, accommodations may be similar. Documentation is required, and we will work with you to obtain it and of course is it kept confidential. The most accessed accommodation is extended time for tests and testing in a quiet area. All accommodations are individualized and determined for each course with student input. We work with all types of disabilities: learning, physical, sensory, mental health, and temporary situations. It is up to students to access our services, and we also offer support, check in meetings, referrals and accommodation loan equipment.
Erickson Library Library and research services. The library also serves as a research hub and quiet place for studying.
Help Desk/Technology Support Help with printing, software use, and general computer assistance.
Pathways to College Success & Placement Program A free program designed to assist students to successfully prepare and transition into college ready courses.

Veterans Resource Center The Veterans Resource Center assists eligible student veterans, active duty personnel, dependents, reservists, and National Guard members with GI Bill® benefits and questions regarding state and federal educational benefits programs.

Drop for Non-Payment Funding must be in place before 4:30 p.m.  for their semester could be dropped for non-payment on the second day of the semester at 4:30 p.m.

Basic Needs The College recognizes that there are many students who may experience challenges in their lives outside of the classroom that may create stress and anxiety which impacts their academic performance. Challenges may include accessing enough food to eat every day, safe and stable housing, issues with childcare, family obligations, physical and mental health, unexpected bills, or issues with accessing technology.

LSC Student email Students are assigned a Microsoft Outlook email that is used for all official communications. This email also comes with free access to a full suite of Microsoft products such as Teams, Calendar, Word, PowerPoint and more!

Student Code of Conduct

The Lake Superior College Student Code of Conduct serves two purposes: the first purpose is to serve as a guide for student behavior; the second purpose is to outline the procedures to be followed, both by students and college officials, should violations of the Code occur. It is expected that all students will read this code and will be responsible for knowing and abiding by its content.
