Registration is open for Lake Superior College’s free Advanced GenCyber Camp, June 12-16, 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. This free, week-long advanced camp is for students in grades 7-12 that have previously participated in a GenCyber camp or with previous computer experience or interests. Team-focused, hands-on cybersecurity activities are designed to instill a passion in participants and include: Python programming; advanced blue team SOC skills; offensive security tools; and network security tactics.

Some of the topics covered in the Advanced GenCyber Camp:
☑️ Building a PC and installing an OS
☑️ Intro/advanced Python programming
☑️ Sphero and Virtual Reality (VR) programming
☑️ Mobile apps design
☑️ Cybersecurity and cyber safety
☑️ iOT and Smart Devices security
☑️ Ethical hacking
☑️ Network firewalls, forensics and defense strategies
☑️ Wi-Fi pineapples
☑️ Cyber/IT careers
