Check your eligibility
Before applying to graduate, check your Degree Audit Report to make sure you’re eligible to graduate. Read full graduation eligibility guidelines.
Complete loan exit counseling
If you took out a student loan to fund your education at LSC, you must do a loan exit counseling session.
You must fill out a graduation application to receive a degree.
Deadline: If you have completed the requirements for your degree, diploma or certificate prior to the current term, you can apply to graduate anytime but please be aware that you will be considered a graduate for the current term which may be not be the same term as when you finished the requirements for your program. The deadline to apply to graduate for the Spring 2024 term is March 31, 2024.
Diploma
All accounts must be in good standing before your diploma, certificate or degree will be awarded. Allow 6-8 weeks for your diploma to arrive at the address you entered on your graduation application.
Commencement ceremony
LSC hosts one commencement ceremony each year. This is held after spring semester and recognizes graduates who complete their degree in fall, spring, or the immediate following summer. Invite family and friends and attend commencement ceremonies.
