Amy Jo Swing has been a student for her whole life and a teacher more than half of it. She began teaching online in 1998 and dove into faculty development soon after, including training others to design and teach engaging online classes. She is also a passionate advocate of OER/Zero cost materials and Culturally Responsive Pedagogy.
Kelli Hallsten Erickson
Center for Faculty Innovation Coordinator
Kelli Hallsten Erickson teaches English and has been the Center for Faculty Innovation Coordinator here for over a decade. Her work includes active learning and andragogy, classroom management techniques, Culturally Responsive Pedagogy, how to teach professionalism, and helping faculty learn from each other.
Instructional Technologist and Campus Trainer
Stacy Leno has been a technology trainer and academic systems administrator in higher education for over twenty years. She shares her love of learning new ways to use technology with the faculty and staff at Lake Superior College.
CFI Peer and Student Review Coordinator
Jody Ondich has been teaching philosophy since 2002. She works with faculty development as LSC’s peer and student review coordinator. She is active with LSC and the state system in accessibility training and creating OER materials. She has three OER texts published on the Open Text Network of the University of Minnesota.
