September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month
Did you know sickle cell disease is the most common hereditary blood disorder in the world? It can be extremely painful for those living with it, and blood transfusions are often the only relief from debilitating pain during a crisis. Learn more about this disease and how you can help.
Give blood in honor of those living with sickle cell and schedule at the Lake Superior College blood drive today. All presenting donors receive a free t-shirt, while supplies last!
Double your donation, double the lives saved! Double red cell donations are available at your blood drive. You’re the right type if you are O+, O-, A-, or B-.
