Lake Superior College Ranked Among 50 Best Online Community Colleges in the Nation

Lake Superior College in Duluth has received more national recognition and is once again ranked among the 50 Best Online Community Colleges in the Nation, by College Consensus.

Lake Superior College is ranked as the forty-second best community college in America to earn your degree online.

According to College Consensus: “For over two decades, Lake Superior College has been providing an excellent education for the citizens in and around the Duluth, MN, area. Today, LSC has over 20 completely online programs, including certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees. Online certificates are available in PC Support Technician, Paralegal Studies, Physical Therapy Assistant/Military Bridge, and many more options. Or, you can earn a Bookkeeping or Computer & Web Programming diploma through distance education. Associate degrees are designed to transfer to a 4-year college or university in various disciplines such as Computer Technology, Business, Technology, Fire Science Administration, etc.”

In addition to a wide variety of on campus, online and hybrid options, Lake Superior College is also among one of the first colleges in Minnesota to offer a Z-degree. A Z-degree is a degree with zero textbook costs, meaning the instructor does not require students to purchase any textbook materials (although optional or supplemental materials can be recommended). Students at Lake Superior College are able to earn their complete Liberal Arts & Science Associate of Arts (AA) Degree (60 credits) and/or their Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC, 40 credits) on campus, online and/or a combination of both, and with no textbook costs.
