Creating Community in College
The Student Activity and Engagement Team plans and promotes community building events on campus. Activities encourage civic engagement through volunteerism, meeting others and having fun.
Events include:
- Constitution Day–free constitutions and popcorn for everyone!
- Halloween Costume Party–make and take a sandwich for drop in center
- Veteran’s Day Celebration–make thank you cards for veterans
- Peace on Earth Party–Toys for Tots drive
- Student Success Day–Food Shelf drive
- Valentine’s Day–Memorial Blood Center drive
- Earth Day–campus clean-up
