Grade Point Average “G.P.A.” = Total Grade Points ÷ Total Credits

A = 4 points B = 3 points C = 2 points D = 1 point F = 0 points
Example:

CREDITS GRADE EARNED GRADE POINTS
4 credit class x C (2 grade points) = 8
3 credit class x F (0 grade points) = 0
4 credit class x B (3 grade points) = 12
3 credit class x B (3 grade points) = 9
14 credits total 29 grade points total

29 ÷ 14 = 2.07 G.P.A.

Credit Completion Rate = Earned Credits ÷ Attempted Credits

Earned Credits: Any credit with a grade of A-D or “P” if pass/no credit course

Attempted Credits: Any credit for which you are registered for after the Drop/Add deadline for the semester. This includes W (withdrawal), F (failure), FN (failure for nonattendance), I (incomplete), NC (no credit) grades.

Example:
75.99 earned credits ÷ 98.66 attempted credits = 77% credit completion rate
