Proof of English Proficiency Provide proof of English proficiency through one of the following ways: Proof of English Proficiency Measurement/Guidelines Submit official TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) scores from ETS. Minimum scores for TOEFL-Paper/Pencil: 500 or more, Computer: 173 or more, Internet: 61 or more. Lake Superior College’s school code for TOEFL is 6389. Copies provided by students are not acceptable. Provide proof of completion of an English as a second language program. Program provided must be from a regionally-accredited college or university. Provide proof of completion of four years of full-time education in English Education must be done in a country where English is an official language. Submit International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test scores. Submit a test score of 6.0 with no part less than a 5.5.
