Student Success Day Features Career, Networking and Wellness Sessions

WHO: Lake Superior College students get the day off from regular academic classes in order to participate in a Student Success Day. It’s a day set aside each semester to support academic success. It is designed to help students with career options, networking, personal success and wellness.

WHAT: From getting your vehicle inspected, creating a path to financial success to preparing for an interview or dealing with test anxiety, the Fall Student Success Day is designed with dozens of sessions that are geared around four themes: Explore Careers and Transfer Options, Strategies for Success, Get Connected-Build Your Network and Personal Wellness.

Highlights include keynote speaker Jesse Ross, an author and personal and
professional development coach who will speak on how to go beyond average at 11:30 a.m., a ping pong tournament, and a Miller Creek hike.
