LAKE SUPERIOR COLLEGE NEWSPLASH News ReleasesFeatured StoriesAthleticsFoundation Nicole Okstad Hired as College Lab Assistant at Lake Superior College Lake Superior College has hired alumna Nicole Okstad as a College Lab Assistant for the Integrated Manufacturing program. Her job duties include staffing the LSC Manufacturing Auxiliary Classroom (MAC) trailer, a mobile unit that circulates to area high schools, and helping promote the manufacturing program to K-12 partners throughout the region. The MAC provides access to high tech machine tool, welding and automation equipment and instruction for high school students interested in high-demand manufacturing trades. Okstad grew up in Proctor, MN. She graduated from Lake Superior College’s Integrated Manufacturing program with a welding diploma and a rapid prototype and design certificate in 2017.
