Minnesota State Recognizes Leaders with Emeritus Status
The Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities has recognized Annette Parker and Patricia Rogers with the title of President Emeritus.

Patricia Rogers served as president of Lake Superior College from 2019 until her retirement in 2025.

During her presidency, Lake Superior College refined its mission, vision and values statements, completed its Higher Learning Commission re-accreditation, and advanced several major campus projects focused on student success and workforce needs.

Under her leadership, LSC created Hawks Landing, opened a new Center for Equity and Inclusion, remodeled the main campus library to better serve students, and brought manufacturing programs back to the main campus as part of a major addition and remodel.

Her tenure will be remembered for guiding the college through the COVID-19 pandemic with a steady focus on students, employees and community partnerships, while helping nearly 5,000 students earn a certificate, diploma or associate degree.
