Students in Lake Superior College’s Radiologic Technology Club will greet customers at Duluth’s Texas Roadhouse, 902 Mall Dr., on Sunday, Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. to raise money to attend the Minnesota Society of Radiologic Technologists state conference and compete in MSRT State Knowledge Bowl. Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of participating patron bills to LSC’s Radiologic Technology student club when guests mention Lake Superior College.
“We appreciate the Texas Roadhouse helping us fundraise to attend our state conference,” said Magdalene Baker, LSC Radiologic Technology student club secretary/treasurer. “A highlight for us is participating in the State Knowledge Bowl competition which quizzes rad tech students about medical facts. LSC students have placed at the top a number of times throughout the years. We hope to continue that good showing.”
LSC’s nationally accredited Radiologic Technology AAS degree program provides a full learning experience with both classroom training at the Duluth campus and clinical training at regional sites.
