Lake Superior College To Host Students From Marshall School For The CyberPatriot Youth Cyber Defense State Competition

Lake Superior College will serve as a host site for the CyberPatriot Youth Cyber Defense State Competition, organized by the United States Air Force Association, tomorrow, Friday, January 19, beginning at 9 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. on LSC’s Main Campus, in classrooms W1848 and W1818. LSC will be hosting the Marshall High School and Middle School teams. Media is welcome to attend and observe how our community’s youth are learning about how they can help defend and secure computer and online vulnerabilities. The teams are coached and mentored by LSC’s Computer Information System (CSI) faculty, including head coach Anup Parajuli. Lake Superior College has received a Center of Academic Excellence 2Y Designation from the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security.
