Lake Superior College Spring Semester Art Show to Highlight Students' Traditional and Digital Work

(Duluth, Minn.) -- Lake Superior College’s annual student Spring Semester Student Art Show opens Monday, May 2, at noon. The exhibit runs through Wednesday, May 4, at 9 p.m.

Students enrolled in LSC’s popular art courses will have an opportunity to display their work during the exhibit. The show will include the work of approximately 200 students in first- and second-year art classes.

Students will present a variety of art, including drawings, paintings, ceramics, sculpture, metal art and jewelry, watercolors, digital photography, and digital paintings. Many of the works will be available for purchase.

Artwork will be displayed in the lower concourse in LSC’s main building. For pieces that are priced to sell, the title card associated with each student work will list a price if the item is for sale. Interested buyers can complete a card with contact information, and students will contact potential buyers after the show. The exhibit will be open during regular campus hours beginning at noon on Monday, May 2, through 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4.
