Lake Superior College Foundation to host 2021 Golf Outing and FUNdraising Social on Thursday, August 12, at Enger Park Golf Course

The Lake Superior College Foundation is hosting its 2021 Golf Outing and FUNdraising Social on Thursday, August 12, at Enger Park Golf Course. Golf registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with tee times beginning at 11 a.m., with 5-10 min intervals. All are invited and welcome to attend. All proceeds benefit student scholarships at Lake Superior College and the Greatest Need Fund through the Lake Superior College Foundation. To learn more and to register, please visit lsc.edu/golf.

Not a golfer and/or can’t make it to the golf portion of the day but still want to stop by to help support the Foundation? Please join us for the FUNdraising Social from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. in the event center at Enger Park Golf Course. There will be games, raffles, prizes, music and (weather permitting) the popular helicopter ball drop made possible thanks to our aviation partners at Lake Superior Helicopters. All are welcome to attend the free social, but registration is still preferred. To register for the golf outing and/or the social, please visit lsc.edu/golf.

All proceeds from this event help fund scholarship opportunities for Lake Superior College students and our community’s future workforce. Last year, LSC Foundation provided over $350,000 in direct student support through scholarships, grants, and emergency interest-free loans.

“We’re so excited to gather with friends, donors, alumni, sponsors and other community partners again after having to miss this event last year due to the pandemic,” said Daniel Fanning, Vice President of Advancement at Lake Superior College. “This is always a fun, casual event where everyone is welcome and most importantly we’re raising funds for a really important cause. Our students have been hit hard by the pandemic and the LSC Foundation has really stepped up to help support them through scholarships, grants, emergency loans and other financial support. We’ve helped support over 400 students over the past couple of years and that’s often the reason they’re able to attend or remain in school. Events like the golf outing help make that type of funding possible. We simply couldn’t do it with the generous support from our community and we are so grateful for those who help support our students and the LSC Foundation.”

To register for the golf outing or for more information on the events and/or sponsorship opportunities, please visit www.lsc.edu/golf or contact the LSC Foundation at (218) 733-7707 or [email protected].
