Watercolor An introductory course presenting practical and creative knowledge for students at any level who want to develop, explore, and experiment with the exciting possibilities of the watercolor medium. Painting I Introduction to traditional and contemporary painting techniques and concepts. Focus is on building skills in depicting images and spaces, and on applying the art elements and design principles to painted compositions. Students are introduced to the technical vocabulary of painting and to the critical analysis of contemporary and historical paintings.
