Why Study Business and Entrepreneurship at LSC?

The Business and Entrepreneurship Certificate offers students the opportunity to complete a 15-credit certificate. This certificate has an emphasis on contemporary business practices through coursework in management, leadership, accounting, and marketing.

The Business and Entrepreneurship Certificate transfers seamlessly into LSC's Business Transfer Pathway AS degree which directly transfers and applies to designated bachelor’s degree programs at Minnesota State universities.

Program Participation Requirements

Pre-program Requirements

To begin this program, you need to be at a specific skill level in English/reading and mathematics.

English/Reading:

  • Eligible for ENGL 1106 - College Composition I, or
  • Completion of ENGL/READ 0950/0955 (or equivalent or higher). ENGL/READ 0950/0955 may be taken concurrently with Semester I coursework.

Mathematics:

  • Eligible for MATH 0970 - Intermediate Algebra, or
  • Completion of MATH 0950/0955 (or equivalent or higher). MATH 0950/0955 may be taken concurrently with Semester I coursework.
