
Lake Superior College (LSC) students will hold a free art show beginning Monday, May 4 through Wednesday, May 6 in the main concourse of the college's main campus, showcasing work created during the spring semester.
This show is open to the public and will showcase a diverse array of works from over 200 LSC art students, including ceramics, paintings, drawings, digital photography and graphic design, metal art, jewelry, watercolors, and sculptures.
Returning this semester is the Opening Night Reception, which takes place Monday evening from 5-6:30 p.m. The reception will feature refreshments, as well as guest speakers and attendees will have a chance to interact with the student artists and instructors.
The art show opens on Monday at noon and is open to the public until 8 p.m. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the show will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Art students will be on hand throughout the event talking about the pieces on display and promoting the art courses and programs at LSC.
