LSC Foundation Vine and Dine Gala to Raise Scholarship Funds

The Lake Superior College Foundation will host its annual Vine & Dine gala fundraiser on Thursday, March 2 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Clyde Iron Event Center. WDIO-TV News Anchor Darren Danielson will host the evening’s festivities with special guest Duluth Mayor Emily Larson also on the program.

The Vine & Dine tasting event features wine, craft beer, craft spirits and delicious food samplings from top chefs around the region who donate their resources. A silent and live auction will also raise funds for scholarships. All proceeds benefit scholarship funds for LSC students. Tickets to the event are $60 per person and are available in advance through the LSC Foundation, (218) 733-7707, online at www.lsc.edu or at the door.

“LSC Foundation offers over sixty scholarships to our valued students who are starting, continuing and completing their education. We truly appreciate the ongoing support of generous individuals, businesses, and other community partners who help make this funding possible,” said Daniel Fanning, Executive Director of the Lake Superior Foundation. “Each year we provide more than $200,000 in scholarships and grants to LSC students, helping make their education more affordable and accessible.”

More than eighteen area restaurants, caterers, craft beer and liquor providers will be on site for the Vine and Dine event. Vendors include: Bent Paddle Brewing; Castle Danger Brewing; Cash Wise Liquor; Caribou Coffee; Lake Superior Brewing; Vikre Distillery; Canal Park Brewing; The Exchange; Red Lobster; Chester Creek Café, Duluth Grill/ OMC; Famous Dave’s; Valentini’s; Rich Cuisine; The Silos at Pier B; New Scenic Café; Clyde Iron Works; and The Boat Club Restaurant.
