Lake Superior College ranked among the 50 Best Community Colleges in the Nation
Lake Superior College, a member of the Minnesota State system, has been ranked among the 50 Best Community Colleges in the Nation by College Consensus. Lake Superior College was listed as the 41st best community college in the nation.

Lake Superior College, a member of the Minnesota State system, has been ranked among the 50 Best Community Colleges in the Nation by College Consensus. Lake Superior College was listed as the 41st best community college in the nation.

A few weeks ago Lake Superior College was ranked among the 50 Best Online Community Colleges in the Nation, and now LSC has also been named among the 50 Best (overall) Community Colleges in the Nation. Online and on campus, Lake Superior Colleges continues to be a national leader in terms of offering an extraordinary education at an exceptional value.

Per their website, College Consensus evaluated well over 1,000 community colleges throughout America. The College Consensus Top 50 Community Colleges ranking focuses strictly on regionally accredited, reputable institutions. They ranked programs by three evenly weighted criteria:

  • Cost (current IPEDS data)
  • Reputation (Niche data)
  • Success (Payscale data)

With those three factors, College Consensus ranked colleges according to their success in providing a return on investment.
