Whether you’re starting fresh from high school, need to finish your degree, or seeking a career change, LSC’s Spring Open House on Friday, April 21 from 3-6 p.m. offers plenty of resources to help you get on the right path.

Friendly and knowledgeable faculty and staff will be on hand at more than 50 booths with information and demonstrations about college programs, student services, campus activities, men’s and women’s intercollegiate soccer, and student clubs. Free chair massages, tours, refreshments, and door prizes are available throughout the event.

Worried about paying for college? LSC’s financial aid team will staff an open lab from 2:30-5:30 p.m. to offer help in completing and filing the all-important FAFSA form to apply for state and federal funding.

Information sessions will cover the admissions process, choosing the right career, test preparation and study, the Associate of Arts degree, and business, industry, and health and nursing programs.

LSC’s Associate of Arts, Associate of Fine Arts, and Associate of Science degrees allow students to complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree prior to transferring to a four-year university or college. LSC also offers more than 70 certificates, diploma and degree programs in career/technical fields.

More than 130 online courses are offered through the popular eLearning. These classes include fully transferable Minnesota Transfer Curriculum courses as well as electives, technical program courses and developmental courses.
