Bring your Cadillac, your Corolla, or just bring the kids – the Lake Superior College Auto Club is holding its annual Dennis Godfrey Memorial Car Show. The show takes place May 7 from 11 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the lower west parking lot of the Main Campus and in the Automotive Program area. Vehicle can be registered between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., judging begins at 1 p.m., and trophies will be presented at 3:45 p.m.
This year’s show features a pipe rapping contest at 3 p.m. Activities include auto service and auto body demonstrations, music and door prizes. Trophies will be awarded in up to 25 different classes including motorcycles.
The car show is open to the public and free to spectators; vehicle entry is $10. The LSC Alumni Association and 94X Radio are sponsoring the show. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
