The proper use of the Lake Superior College logo impacts the college’s image and brand with students and the public. Below are guidelines on the approved use of the logo.
If a logo is not shown below, it is outdated and should not be used. This includes logos with taglines or phrases.

Logo Specifics
The diagram below shows the specifications of the Lake Superior College logo. The logo should not be altered in any way, and only the authorized versions available here should be used.
Both the name of the college and the graphic elements must be used together. They should never be used independently or in an altered configuration.
Authorized Variations
The logos below are the only authorized versions for the Lake Superior College logo. Fonts in the PDF and EPS files have been converted to outlines.
Colors and Typefaces
As previously illustrated, the logo is to be used in two colors, one color, or reverse using the colors and fonts shown here.
When a spot Pantone® color is not available and the printing is to be CMYK, the following CMYK is to be used.
Book Antiqua is used for the name “Lake Superior College.” It is italicized by skewing the name by 10 degrees.
Lake Superior College IceHawks
The LSC IceHawk is used to communicate school spirit. These logos should never compete graphically or be used as a substitute for the Lake Superior College logo.
The IceHawk spelling is one word, capitalizing the I and H. Never attempt to recreate or alter the logos in whole or in part.
Naked Primary IceHawk Logo (No Words)
This logo should be used only in special circumstances with the coordination of the Marketing department. It should have the one of the official colors only as a fill or be an outline.
