We’re excited to help you prepare for a successful start to the semester.*


  • Thursday, January 6, 2022: 4 – 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, January 8, 2022: 9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

*This event is optional. If you are unable to attend, you can stop by the main campus during regular business hours to take care of any of these items before the start of the semester.

Main Campus Activities

Pick up textbooks and materials you have reserved online at**

  • Learn how to navigate online learning
  • Find your classrooms
  • Meet with an advisor
  • Pay tuition
  • Get student ID card
  • Check your financial aid status

**Place order for pick-up three business days prior to Fall Semester Kickoff date.

Center for Advanced Aviation

Center for Advanced Aviation 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The Center for Advanced Aviation will be open for pilot and aviation maintenance students. 4960 Airport Road, Hangar 103

Downtown Duluth Center Photo

Downtown Center: 9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

The Downtown Center will be open for integrated manufacturing students enrolled in computer aided design, machine tool careers and welding. 120 N 2nd Ave. W.


Emergency Response Training Center: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

The Emergency Response Training Center will be open for firefighting students. 11501 Highway 23.

Do you have questions and need quick answers? Even if you’re planning to attend the in-person Fall Semester Kickoff event, you can still drop in for a virtual session:

  • Wednesday, August 11, 2021: 5 – 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, August 17, 2021: 12 – 2 p.m.

These drop-in sessions are a convenient way to ask questions and get answers before the semester starts.
