About Matt
What do you do at LSC and how do you support students/community?
As an Admissions Representative, Matt builds connections with area high schools and community organizations to recruit prospective students.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
Matt enjoys helping prospective students explore their future goals and discover the many support systems available at Lake Superior College.
Education Background
Matt earned both his B.S. in Elementary Education and M.S.Ed. in Educational Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Superior.

National Association of Secondary School Principal's 2025 Wisconsin High School Assistant Principal of the Year
Hobbies/Interests
Reading and spending time on the lake.
Matt joined Lake Superior College in July 2026, as an Admissions Representative.
Before stepping into higher education, Matt spent several years in K-12 education as an elementary school teacher and school administrator. This background gives him an understanding of the student learning journey from early foundational growth to accessing higher education.
Matt believes in supportive, student-centered approaches to help prospective students explore Lake Superior College's degree, certificate, and career pathway programs.
