Flux Cored Arc Welding I This course introduces students to the flux cored arc welding process including equipment terms and safety procedures. Students will learn how to setup, adjust, and shut down flux cored arc welding equipment. Students will be able to produce fillet T-joint welds in the horizontal, vertical, and overhead position and single-V-groove butt joint welds in the horizontal and vertical position. Students will also be able to classify electrodes and conduct single-V-groove tests. (Prerequisites: WLDG1560) (2 hrs lec/2 hrs lab/0 hrs OJT)
