Solid-State Devices This course covers the theory and operation of basic solid-state devices including various types of diodes, transistors, thyristors, and linear integrated circuits. The student then learns how these devices are used in simple circuits such as power supplies, amplifiers, and switching circuits. In the lab portion of this course, the student will build and observe the operation of various circuits studied in lecture. (Prerequisites: ELTN 1408) (2 hrs lec/4 hrs lab/0 hrs OJT)
