Art History: Renaissance to the Present An introduction to the history of art emphasizing the social context and historical fabric out of which art has developed. The time-period covered by this class is from the Renaissance to the present. The course explores western and non-western architecture, sculpture, painting, and craft through lecture, discussion, and written assignments.
