Official Communication at Lake Superior College

Email

Your LSC email account is the official means of communication at Lake Superior College. It is NOT personal email (Gmail, Hotmail, etc.).

To log in:

  1. On a desktop computer, go to the top of the LSC website, go to the “Login” menu and select Email & O365
    1. On a mobile device, tap the mobile menu, then tap “Email and O365”
    2. Or you can just go to lsc.edu/email
  2. Your username is formatted like this: (yourStarID)@go.minnstate.edu
  3. Your password is your Star ID password.

Address, Phone Number and Preferred Name

  • Log in and verify your permanent address and phone number
  • Turn text messaging on or off You can receive important text updates regarding registration, financial aid, and more.
  • Preferred Name Requests Students may request that their “Preferred Name” be different from their legal name of record in the system. If you enter a preferred name, it will appear on class lists and adjust your email address to reflect your preferred name.
