Submit your records:

  • Submit your military documents

    You will need to complete the application process at Lake Superior College and be accepted into a degree program. You must submit your military service records and transcripts (DD-214, JST, Community College of the Air Force, Military ID) to show proof of your military status. This will allow us to waive your $20 application fee. Apply for free to LSC. We will also use these to determine what credits transfer for your military service.

  • Submit official high school transcripts

    If you have graduated high school with in the last 5 years, you need to submit an official high school transcript. Ask your high school to email transcripts to or fax to (218) 733-5945.

  • Submit college transcripts

    Submit official transcripts from any colleges you attended in the past. Our transfer services provides information about which credits will transfer to LSC. To submit a transcript, contact the college and request your official transcript to be sent to LSC.

Minnesota State transcripts

If you have attended another college or university (excluding the University of MN) within the Minnesota State system, you do not need to order a transcript. LSC is able to electronically download your transcript after you apply.

All transcripts must be official. Please allow processing time of 2 weeks or more.

    As a Military or Veteran student, you may be eligible for educational benefits though numerous GI Bill® programs. Keep in mind it can take 60-90 days to process new certifications, so apply for military benefits early!

  • Apply for financial aid

    You should also apply for your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
