As we move into March and approach spring break, I want to share an update on an important project that has been taking shape across our campus. Our leadership team is entering the final phase of the strategic plan refresh, a process grounded in the voices and insights of our faculty, staff, and students.
While our five strategic directions remain strong and unchanged, the goals under each have been thoughtfully updated to reflect emerging needs, opportunities for innovation, and our continued commitment to equity, affordability, and workforce alignment. At the Cabinet Meeting, we will review the final language and confirm next steps for sharing the refreshed plan with the broader campus community.
As many of you prepare for a well‑earned break—or simply a quieter week on campus—I want to thank everyone who contributed ideas, raised questions, and helped shape this work. Your engagement ensures that our strategic plan remains a living guide for how we serve students and our region with excellence.
