As we enter December and I complete the first six months of my presidency, I’ve been reflecting on the resilience, creativity, and dedication that have defined our community this year. The season invites us to pause, to celebrate what we’ve accomplished together, and to look ahead with renewed purpose.
We started out this academic year by working on the refresh of our strategic plan and identifying areas that we want to focus on and invest in. As we continue this work, I’ll be providing periodic updates documenting how the work I do from this new office is in alignment with our goals and aspirations as a college. These reflections are not only about numbers or initiatives—it is about the people who make our college thrive: our faculty, staff, students, and partners.
During this time of gratitude, I am deeply thankful for the spirit of collaboration that continues to shape our campus. As we prepare to turn the page into a new year, let us carry forward the lessons learned and the momentum we’re building. Together, we are writing a story of growth and possibility. I look forward to sharing our collective journey in the upcoming recap—and to building the next chapter with all of you.
