While we search for our next Career Services Director, students are encouraged to utilize the “Career Help” services within D2L Brightspace / eLearning. There students can “Connect with a Tutor Now” or “Schedule a Session” with a trained professional for resume assistance, job search support, or interview prep. Below are steps for navigating the Tutor.com resource.
Steps to Connect with a Career Services Expert Now
- Log into D2L Brightspace / eLearning
- Click on any of your courses
- Click on “Tutor.com”
- Click on “Connect with a Tutor Now” located at the top of the page
- Complete the “What do you need help with today?” section
- Select topic “Career Help”
- Click “Submit”
Steps to Schedule a Meeting with a Career Services Expert
- Log into D2L Brightspace / eLearning
- Click on any of your courses
- Click on “Tutor.com”
- Click on “Schedule a Session” located at the top of the page, then click the submenu “Tutor.com Expert Tutors”
- Type “Career” for an career help services, then click the appropriate career support you desire.
- Loo through the available experts and click the “Schedule” button next to their name to schedule an appointment.
