Minnesota State Transfer Pathways

Minnesota State Transfer Pathways are designed so you can complete a specific associate degree at Lake Superior College and transfer to a Minnesota State university to earn a bachelor’s degree without losing credits or having to take extra courses.

Lake Superior College’s Minnesota State Transfer Pathways degrees include:

60 credits – AS Degree

60 credits – AA Degree

Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (Generals)

40 credits – (MnTC)
The Minnesota Transfer Curriculum is a package of 40 semester credits that will be accepted for transfer by all Minnesota community colleges, state universities, and the University of Minnesota, as well as many private colleges.

Associate of Arts

60 credits – AA Degree
Intended for students who want to transfer to a baccalaureate program at a 4-year college or university.

Associate of Science

60 credits – AS Degree
Intended for students who want to transfer to a baccalaureate program at a 4-year college or university with a focus in pre-professional programs or majors with strong math and/or science emphasis.

Associate of Fine Arts

60 credits – AFA Degree
