Your to-do list:

  • Submit high school transcripts

You may need to submit a high school transcript (courses, grades, and graduation date). Ask your high school to email transcripts to or fax to (218) 733-5945.

Graduated in the last 5 years?
Submit an official high school or home-school transcript.

Graduated over 5 years ago? You don’t need to submit a high school or home-school transcript.

Current high school students
Send us your in-progress transcript. Once you graduate, ask your high school to send us your final, completed transcript with graduation date. If we do not receive it before the semester you enroll, you will not be able to receive financial aid for that term.

  • Submit college transcripts

Submit official transcripts from any colleges you attended in the past. Our transfer services provides information about which credits will transfer to LSC. To submit a transcript, contact the college and request your official transcript to be sent to LSC.

Minnesota State transcripts
If you have attended another college or university (excluding the University of MN) within the Minnesota State system, you do not need to order a transcript. LSC is able to electronically download your transcript after you apply.

Official transcripts delivery to LSC
All transcripts must be official. Please allow process time (2 weeks or more) to take place.

  • Secure / paperless:
  • By mail: Lake Superior College
    2101 Trinity Road

  • In person: Bring in sealed envelope from the institution attended. Do NOT open the envelope.

If you live out of state or graduated high school before 1997, please complete and mail in the immunization form. If we don’t receive it, you’ll be prevented from registering for your second semester of classes.

Do you live outside the state of Minnesota?

  • LSC charges the same rate regardless of a student’s state of residence.

Non-Minnesota residents will pay the same tuition rates as Minnesota residents.
