Step 1 Inside-Out Application The LSC Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program admissions process is competitive. It’s a separate process from becoming an LSC student. All Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program applicants who complete the application will be considered for admission to the program. Meeting minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission into the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program. View FAQs Become an LSC student Before you apply to the Inside-Out program you must apply and become an LSC student. Become an LSC student You don’t need to re-apply to LSC if you’ve taken classes here in the last 2 years. If you’ve taken classes for credit at LSC in the last 2 years, you are still active in our system. If it’s been 2 years or more since you took a class, you will need to apply again. All students undergo a background check. The class is facilitated by a Lake Superior College instructor who has been trained and certified by the national Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program.
