In just a few years, Lake Superior College has emerged as a regional leader in transfer education, technical education, and workforce development. Established in 1995 as the product of a merger of Duluth's community and technical colleges, LSC has grown significantly by meeting the needs of the region's citizens and students. LSC provides a wide range of programs and services intended to enhance the lives of students, improve career prospects in the emerging global economy, and support economic growth.
The Lake Superior College Foundation exists to facilitate active involvement in the development of Lake Superior College. With your interest, involvement, and effort, our community will be a better place to live and work.
Mission Our mission is to support the educational, cultural, and service goals of Lake Superior College by acting as its designated friend and fund-raiser.
Vision The Lake Superior College Foundation is the center for creatively developing business, community, and college resources, supporting student needs, and promoting excellence in teaching and learning.
