The LSC Diversity Committee is committed to fostering a positive learning and working environment. Our role is to assist in the creation of an environment in which every member of the college community is valued and everyone has the opportunity to succeed. Our goal is to help create a more diverse, inclusive and welcoming academic community.
The Diversity Committee meets monthly during the academic year. The meetings are open to the LSC community.

Featured Event
Sexual Violence/Domestic Assault Info Session. The Lake Superior College Nursing Club will be hosting a Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Information Session in honor of Health Awareness Week. This information session will feature Sarah Fries (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program Coordinator for PAVSA) and Ed Heisler (Community Education Coordinator for Save Haven Shelter for Battered Women). Sarah and Ed will each be giving presentations regarding Domestic Violence in the college and community, resources available for victims, and how to report sexual/domestic violence. There will also be an opportunity for a question and answer discussion. We encourage all to attend who seek further information regarding Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
