Why Study Fire Extinguisher at LSC?
Fire Extinguisher training covers fire types, classifications and behaviors, fire tetrahedron, chemical chain reactions, physical states of fuel, explosive limits, types of heat, flash point, fire point, fire extinguishers, types ratings and classifications, procedures for inspecting and maintaining and operating fire extinguishers, fire prevention and fuel isolation, characteristics of fuels, techniques for extinguishing a small fire.
A hands on exercise is completed with live fire or with an electronic fire extinguisher simulator.
