Online Class – D2L Brightspace

Your e-campus D2L Brightspace account will be created 80 days before your course begins. You will be able to login to the D2L e-Campus prior to the first day of class and we encourage you to do so. However, your course(s) may not appear in your account and you will not be able to access them until the first day of class.

  1. Be sure that you are using the correct username format:
    Student Email: StarID@my.lsc.edu
    Employee Email: StarID@lsc.edu
    Online Class: StarID
  1.  Make sure your StarID password has not expired:
    1. Go to the StarID Self-Service
    2. Click on Manage Profile

To change your StarID password:

  1. Go to the StarID Self-Service
  2. Click on Reset my Password
  3. Click on I know my Tech ID (8 digit student ID)
  4. Enter your Tech ID, select Lake Superior College, and click Continue
  5. Enter your Social Security Number
  6. Create a new password
  7. Accept the Acceptable Use of Computers and Information Technology Resources
  8. Click Continue
