These have ranged from infill development of tiny homes or mixed use residential and commercial conversions, within the growing urban neighborhoods of Duluth, to modern Scandinavian modeled homes in the more rural, outlying communities.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
1LLC is seeking an individual that can develop site and construction plans using CAD design. This would include preliminary sketches, layouts, and formal drawings ready for submission to architects and banks for feasibility, city planning and financing approval. This would include making changes and amending plans as projects progress through the development and construction process.
This position is expected to be part-time with an approximate of 30 hours per week time commitment. The position does have the potential for full time employment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build CAD drawings based on preliminary sketches or a set criteria.
• Have an understanding of basic construction codes and zoning requirements of the City of Duluth and the surrounding area.
• Help with feasibility studies and understanding the development and construction process as it relates to city planning and the permitting process.
• Attend planning meetings related to future and ongoing projects.
• Submit permits and applications to the city(s).
• Ability to communicate with the city, and project manager on the process of projects as they progress.
• Keep project details and drawings organized.
• Maintain positive relationships with city employees, co-workers and customers.
