Duties and responsibilities include: Supervision of youth in a school program setting, while maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment. Kids’ Zone aides will plan and implement high-quality academic and enrichment activities centered around youth interests and needs. Participate in ongoing professional development, idea-sharing, and collaboration across Community Education programs and K-12 educational system, and promotion of ideals of the Community Education philosophy and Hermantown Community Schools.

Minimum Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with strong communication, organizational, collaboration, and youth programming skills.

Desired Qualifications: Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience supervising and/or working with youth, and be able to work before and/or after school.
Work Schedule: The work schedule is determined by the Kids’ Zone Site Manager along with the Youth and School Age Child Care Coordinator. All hours are scheduled to meet the needs of the Kids’ Zone hours of operation.

Compensation: up to 28 hours per week (program only offered on scheduled school days)
