Step 3 Next Steps – PTA Military Bridge Notification & next steps You will be notified within 2 weeks of receipt of your application materials. When your file is complete, you will be notified about your admission status. Most students are initially placed on a program waiting list for 12-18 months. Acceptance letters for the PTA-Military Bridge program will be emailed in March for the following spring semester’s PTA courses. This is for formal program acceptance once you are no longer on the waiting list. Accepted If you are formally accepted into the PTA-Military Bridge program you will receive an acceptance letter followed by information about online orientation. You must complete the steps outlined in the acceptance letter to secure your seat in the program. Not accepted You will remain on the wait list until a spot opens. At that time LSC will contact you about starting the program. You don’t need to reapply as an LSC student. 100% LSC Professional Advisors We highly recommend you meet with a Health Sciences Academic Advisor as you begin your program and throughout to address any questions you may have. Background check If you have been arrested, charged, or convicted of any criminal offense, you should investigate the impact that the arrest, charge, or conviction may have on your chances of employment in the field you intend to study. Accreditation The Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Lake Superior College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), 1111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314; telephone: 703-706-3245; email: firstname.lastname@example.org; website: http://www.capteonline.org. If needing to contact the program/institution directly, please call (218) 733-7632 or email email@example.com. Student selection Students who become LSC students and complete all PTA Military Bridge pre-program requirements will be admitted to the PTA Military Bridge program as long as there are available seats in the program. Students are ranked by the date on which their final program requirement was met, and when they completed their application to LSC / declared PTA as their program.
