The LSC nursing admissions process is competitive. It’s a separate process from becoming an LSC student. All nursing program applicants who complete minimum admission requirements by the application deadline will be considered for admission to the nursing program. Meeting minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission into the nursing program.

Wait for notification of acceptance

You can expect to receive notification from LSC’s nursing department within the notification time frame stated in the application procedure.

  • Accepted students MUST complete the required next steps by the deadline

Accepted nursing students will receive a packet in the mail. You must complete forms and return to us as directed in acceptance letter to secure your seat in the program.

If you were NOT accepted, you can reapply during a future application period.

You must complete the entire nursing application process again. You do not have to apply to Lake Superior College again.

LSC Professional Advisors
We highly recommend you meet with a Health Sciences Academic Advisor as you begin your program and throughout to address any questions you may have.

Background Check
If you have been arrested, charged, or convicted of any criminal offense, you should investigate the impact that the arrest, charge, or conviction may have on your chances of employment in the field you intend to study.

Student Selection
Please refer to the nursing program admission policy and procedure for more details about the student selection process.
