• Eligibility

Meet with your High School Counselor/Home School Parent to determine if you qualify for the Post Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) program.

    • Seniors: You must rank in the top half of your high school class. If your school does not compute high school rank, you may be admitted on the basis of a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA).
    • Juniors: You must rank in the top third of their high school class. If your school does not compute high school rank, you may be admitted on the basis of a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
    • Sophomores: You must have taken the 8th grade MCA reading test in the 8th grade and have met the composite proficiency level of meets or exceeds. Please note: Home schooled sophomores are not eligible.

  • Submit high school or home school transcripts

You must submit a high school or home school transcript (courses, grades, and graduation date). Ask your high school to email transcripts to admissions@lsc.edu or fax to (218) 733-5945.

  • Submit Accuplacer, ACT or SAT scores

If you have taken the Accuplacer, ACT or SAT within the past two years, please have results forwarded to the LSC Admissions Office for consideration. This may exempt you from needing to take the Accuplacer as part of the PSEO application process. Learn more about Accuplacer.

  • Submit college transcripts

Submit office transcripts from any college you have attended. If you have not yet completed the college course you are enrolled in, do not list the college on your application. Only list the college if you have completed and earned the credit. Our transfer services provides information about which credits will transfer to LSC.

To submit a transcript, contact the college and request your official transcript to be sent to LSC.
