The dental hygiene program starts once a year in Fall semester. Applications are accepted December 26-January 22.

The program for dental hygiene is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (and has been granted the accreditation status of “approval without reporting requirements”). Admission to the Dental Hygiene Program is competitive. Qualified applicants will be ranked according to their pre-program GPA; the top-ranking students will be offered admission. In the event of a tie, priority will be given to students who completed their pre-program requirements first. The minimum cumulative GPA of pre-program courses must be 3.0 or better.
