PSEO Information Sessions

Want to learn how you can earn tuition-free college credit at Lake Superior College while still in Minnesota high school? Join us for a PSEO information session to learn more! These sessions are intended for high school and home school students entering grades 10, 11 and 12 for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, and their parents/guardians.

Learn more about the PSEO program, get your questions answered, and tour LSC's beautiful main campus. Hear from a panel of current PSEO students who will share their experiences. Pizza and beverages will be served.

PSEO Application Deadlines

  • Fall 2024 Deadline: August 23, 2024

*Your school district MUST be notified by May 30th of your intent to enroll in PSEO and may uphold this deadline, even if LSC has a later deadline. Contact your school district with questions. LSC will uphold their decision on applications received AFTER May 30th.

  • PSEO

    Minnesota’s Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program is supported by the state and allows academically successful Minnesota High School or Minnesota Home School Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors the chance to earn college credits while still in high school. The advantages of the program are many; students get a head start on their college education, save tuition dollars and experience studying in the college environment.

  • College in the Schools

    Lake Superior College also offers a program that allows high school juniors and seniors to earn college credit at their high school. They are available to sophomores on a limited basis.

    College in the Schools (CITS)

    College in the Schools classes are offered through a participating high school and taught by a credentialed high school teacher. LSC partners with 22 area high schools offering over 150 College in the Schools courses for college credit.
