Minnesota Transfer Curriculum and Associate in Arts and Fine Arts Degree Requirements:

  • AA > 60 Credits Total. Minimum requirements in parentheses (includes PE & FYE)
  • 40 credit minimum required in Goal Areas 1-10.
  • AFA > 60 Credits Total with a minimum of 28 credits of art requirements.
  • 30 minimum credits required in Areas 1-10.
  • AS > 60-64 Credits
  • Areas 1-6: Minimum requirements in parentheses (must total 30 credits)
  • AAS > Minimum of 15 general education credits selected from at least 3 of the 10 Goal Areas

Notes:

  • A listed course may meet two (2) competency areas, but credits for a course count in only one competency area.
  • A listed course may count once in Competency Areas 1 through 6, and once in Competency Areas 7 through 10.
  • 2.0 minimum GPA required for MNTC and all above- stated degrees.  May include accepted transfer credits.
