- Orientation. SRISA will provide the following orientation activities:
- Practical walking tour of Florence
- Orientation to Florence
- Housing Orientation
- Safety Lecture
- Cell phone sign-up on campus
- Orientation materials including: SRISA handbook, maps, orientation out-lines, schedules, and calendars.
- 24-hour emergency cell phone number. After hours emergency number for students and faculty.
- Permit of Stay Coordination and Fees.
- Access to SRISA staff for assistance: Both SRISA academic and studio art campuses have a front desk assistant available Monday – Friday 9am-5pm to assist students with questions, problems, photocopies and generally provide assistance to students.
- Students Services Coordinator Coordinates special events for students during the course of the semester.
- Housing Coordinator is available on campus Monday – Friday 10-5pm to assist students with all issues regarding their accommodations in Florence.
- Faculty Office hours. All faculty are available to students out-side regularly scheduled class times to meet with students. Office hours may be posted or coordinated with each student as necessary.
- Access to Administration: SRISA Director and Assistant Director are available during the semester to facilitate any problems or issues that students may have.
- Group excursion to at least 2 of the following (depending on financial situation at the time of semester) :
biodynamic vineyard for tour and lunch, calcio (soccer) match, Pompeii, Cinque Terre, Venice.
- Field trip to Director's country home in Casentino for dinner (includes cooking).
- Fall Semester Break: October 16-25

- Personal art supplies such as paper, pencils, paint and film.
- Course fees. Studio art courses often require an extra course fee.
These course fees range from 0 to 50 Euros depending on the course and are charged directly to students.
- Expenses for field trips and excursions not included in the contract.
- Museum entrance fees beyond the cost of the Museum card.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
- May 1, 2009 first payment deadline, 25% of total fees due to SRISA, non-refundable.
- July 13th, Enrollment deadline for Fall 2009. Students canceling after this date will receive a 50% reimbursement on total fees due.
- July 14th, Balance of all fees due to be paid by this date.
- Aug 1st, Final Deadline. Students dropping from the program after this date will receive a 20% reimbursement of total fees due.

A: Your $500 deposit must accompany your application.
Q: Can I get Financial Aid for my trip abroad?
A: Generally, yes, but check with your Financial Aid Officer ASAP.

A: No, please make out checks to SRISA.
